As a critical care nurse practitioner, my focus will be on treating patients who are experiencing short-term but severe medical issues such as injuries, heart attacks, and respiratory problems. My work will primarily take place in emergency settings, such as health centers, where I will be responsible for quickly diagnosing and treating urgent medical cases. In addition, I will also play a role in monitoring and supporting patients as they recover from surgery. My job may require me to work in various settings, including operating rooms, ambulatory surgery centers, specialist labs, and home healthcare systems. My services will be in high demand in these settings. I will be treating a range of conditions, including trauma, cardiopulmonary issues, cancer, kidney disease, neurological disorders, and surgical procedures.
